The two main types of material we use are Combed Wheat Reed and Water Reed.
In Cornwall Combed Wheat Reed is more traditional and you may need planning permission if you want to change to Water Reed, especially if your property is a listed building.

 Water Reed

Water Reed is generally deemed to last longer than Combed Wheat reed. It is usually more appropriate for new roofs.
